Not positive but wondering if the timing may have something to do with it.

All of these boxes\downloaders\etc react differently on different trucks. You just have to work thru the settings and find the ones that perform on YOUR truck. It definitely may not be the same as mine or anybody elses.

I will play with some of the settings...I am talking with Industrial Injection this morning see what they say

also, i took the truck around the block watching the fuel rail pressure and from idling goes from 6900 to on the gas 15,000 but if I mash the throttle down the truck hesitates bad the the rail pressure drops and then spikes up to 26,000

Big injectors drains the rail, truck hesitates, ECU over compensates and maxes rail pressure. Get codes that way, and high EGT's at times.

You need some FCA, and COV mods with possibly a fuel system to keep up with the demand.

sorry I am new to this.. what are FCA and COV mods? and fuel system means aux lift pump? or do you mean twin cp3's or modified cp3?

THanks

These are the key pieces on the CP-3 that need to be modified to flow more fuel. The FCA is the silver thing with the wiring harness on it. The COV is the black cylinder with what looks like a check ball in the end.

These 2 control how much volume the the pump will flow to supply the rail. You need what is called a bag-of-parts or an Arson kit that updates them to better flowing pieces.

By fuel system I meant low pressure supply. FASS, AirDog, homemade, etc. With the big injectors the stock pump is not going to handle SW #5 without issues as you are seeing.
