wonderin if i could put a 6.7 short block under my 5.9 head i cant get a striaght answer just thinking 6.7 is a lil bigger and bigger is better . any help would be awesome

i had this same question and from what i have found, the head on the 5.9 and the 6.7 bolt up the same, so if the head bolts up the same i don't see why you cant swap out the shortblock?

The simple answer is no. Water jackets and more do not line up.

 

From what I've gathered the injectors on the 03 early 04 trucks have the same spray patern as the 6.7's somewhere i read that a guy swaped a 6.7 into a ford and used the 03 computer wiring harness and injectors on a 6.7 motor. I know its not exactly what your looking for, but may be worth looking into. Anybody know if the 03-04 injectors will work with the 04.5 and up computer?
