Just when I think I got this truck thing figured out, the inlaws buy a 3rd gen. Well if they would have... I'd have a clue. They know nothing of diesel. Shocked the crap out of me they even looked at it. Last years camping must have impressed them. I have no gassers in the yard and all I ever heard from them is stinky, noisy, bla... then they go and buy HPCR.

I'd like to try and talk them into gauges since they will be towing their trailer, the trailer that killed the last truck

Can you do a BHAF or something similar on a 3rd gen? BTW, i don't know what year it is yet, I just want to help them down the slope

 

Hey Jeff, I moved this into the 3rd Gen area since your asking about a specific engine type and not a Cummins in general question. I'm hopin you will get more informed resposes in here.

 

A BHAF will work on a 3rd gen. A third gen is quite similar to the second gens.

 

They are too durned quiet They will also bark second gear stock

 

OMG they got an 2007, QC, LB, 6.7, in the nice blue color.

Unfortunately there hasn't been too many to play with the new 6.7 yet. I know there are a couple boxes out, but as far as anything else, I haven't seen it yet.

 

ya, I think I heard Bob say Marco was working on Smarty for the 6.7

 

I've heard of a couple people that have the Juice/Attitude on the 6.7. I assume it gives performance gains similiar to the 06's.

 

Yeah I hear the new Edge with att. on the 6.7 gets ya up to 380rwhp. Not bad again, something like 80-100 hp.
