Default Banks High Ram Intake question.

My father has a Banks High ram intake that he is willing to give me. It's off his 05' ram 2500 that he just sold.

My question is, can this intake be used on my 99' or not. Banks makes the part for both years, but one is listed as 98' - 02' and the other 03' - 07'.

That leads me to believe that the 05' will not fit my 99'

I hate to have him ship it up from Florida, to find it was a waste of time, not to mention money.

Thanks, Mark

The mounting flange is the same between 2nd and 3rd gen. But, the angle of the inlet from the intercooler tubes is different.

So, it wont just bolt up and work.

I'm going to give it a try. I'll look into another intercooler tube if the angle needs to much elbow grease.

Thanks to all..

Do a write up on it so that we can all see how you make it work... And then if anyone else wants to try they have somthig to go by!

Intake is supposed to be here by the end of September. That's when Dad plans on a PA visit. I will try to get it to work and do a write up on it.

Thanks for the advice and pointers. Later
