Default Edge EZ moduale any good?

Looking at an Edge EZ moduale for my 05 3500. I like the fact it is easy to install and remove. I still have lots of warrenty on my truck, and dont want to loose that. I do a bit of towing, mostly a car trailer with a truck or bobcat and every little bit of power helps.

Is this a good item to pic up.

Yeah, for what you are looking for I think its perfect.

The Quadzilla XZT is a pretty good unit too, and a little less money.

The Smarty can be hidden as well and has a few extra features.

The EZ is a good box. You just don't want to run it on the high levels for any length of time because eventually you may damage your injector tips. I ran one on my 03 for a long time. It's a bit laggy off the line but works great once you start building boost. I agree that the Quad XZT is a good choice too. Much better bottom end fueling, Much better price, Just as easy to install and remove. In fact it's easier to remove....
I never got any mileage increase with the EZ but I always got about a 1 mpg increase with a Quadzilla box on the 60hp setting......

I just got finished installing my Edge EZ box, and took it for a rip. Why didnt I do this before?

I bought my Edge box used, so I saved a few bucks.

The Edge, Quadzilla, Smarty, and TST are all excellent choices for your truck. Just depends on your long term plans and how much you want to spend.
