The first night out with the TST I blew my HG by turning off the wastegate control. Spun the stock charger past 60#, not sure how much since that is where my gauge stops. I have not really had the opportunity to properly dyno this set-up although it was on the rollers once. It made less power than the Predator Puck stack but I was scared of it since the day before on the same dyno someone blew theirs up with the same stack.

I love my TST smarty stack. Only problum with the TST was low end power and that just happens to be the smarty's strong point. Running this combination for 70,000 miles.

Well here is my 2 cents, I was running the Diablo power puck and predator stack, extreme tune and puck set on 60hp setting, had a little surging issues but not bad unless you set it on 90hp setting. Timing rattle is there plain and simple. Well a few months into it the torque converter decided to go south, Time for a new tranny. Dave Goerend hooked me up, problem fixed. Shortly after the Puck took a dump and caused a ton of issues ( it wasnt even on at the time just hooked up). I had to send the puck to Diablosport for repair, months later I finally recieved it back. Installed it agian and the next day un-installed it, I felt the power was better without it, less noise, no surge. NOTE if you run this stack you will need an airdog or fass pump and a modified CP3!!!!

Im currently in the market for something new and have been leaning toward the Quad Adr. still not sure though.

tst stacked with a bullydog with outlook gives you lots of gauges and adjustment but it will kill transmissions and cp3 and turbos trust me i learned the hard way

Ive been running a TST and Edge EZ stack for over 100,000 miles. EZ has been on 2 the whole time. I love the TST, it makes great power, but I would like to add a smarty and give it a shot. TST isnt dangerous, its just not idiot-proof. Tows great, about half the mileage is with a trailer. Whoop up imports, stangs and vette's, and gets great fuel mileage.

Default Smarty Jr.

When I bought a programmer for my truck it was for mileage gains without affecting reliability (no increased rail pressure mainly) I did the usual - got it breathing a little better, added some gauges and then decided on the Smarty Jr. for a programmer.

Low end response.
-The throttle response was the biggest difference, noticeable increase on the low end torque too. That is probably mostly due to the Smarty, but there was improved throttle response when I deleted the grid heater.

Top end Fueling.
-Not a big concern for me on the highway(probably 85% of my driving). I typically use the fuel economy setting (advertised as 40 hp increase if I recall) and don't notice a big difference on the top end.

EGT's
-@ 60 mph empty in the summer I typically see around 550 degrees and 4 or 5 lbs of boost. At full throttle in 5th or 6th gear on a hard pull up a grade boost tops out at 24 lbs and around 1100 degrees.

Timing rattle issues
-no more than when I had my timing advanced 2 degrees. I have a South Bend clutch now and it has a lot of rattle in neutral, kinda makes any timing rattle unnoticeable.

Quality of the display and ease of use
-simple to use, and a code-reader too - one of the reasons I decided on the Smarty.

download time
-Haven't timed it but I would guess 2 or 3 minutes to change a download.

stacking issues
-N/A

how the unit responds to other mods
-N/A

i first used a bully dog torque dog it had tons of low end and i got some crazy mpgs now my adr is so nasty i love it what can't you do with it i may add a smarty down the road but now im gonna run a new fuel system and possibly a super b special but i have a feeling that my adr will fuel as hard as i need it to i run the 3000 tune beta and i have some crazy lowend sick mid and awesome high end and the truck has never been so smooth almost no surge at all and it shifts so smooth sometimes you can't even feel it even wot i just am not happy with adrs fuel pressure sensor it did not work out of the box and i am not getting responsed from them on phone or e-mail and i can't update with my windows 7 laptop and also speaking of laptop i wish they just made a program to monitor and adjust on our laptops that would be so sweet instead of a pulse or the iquad that is coming i guess but the adr fuels so hard its crazy i have had experices with the smarty and the juice and i much prefer my quad
