Default Power increasing products

Alright guys, Just wondering about everyones opinion on boxes, programmers and so on regarding the CR trucks. This is all about starting a friendly discussion, Everyone has their opinion and we should all respect that. So guys, Please post up your current setup, What you like and Dont like about your setup. Also post regarding previous setups.
It would be great if you had any dyno sheets, track slips or sled pulling videos.

Big issues I'd like to discuss are the simples like :

Low end response
Top end Fueling
EGT's
Timing rattle issues
Quality of the display and ease of use
download time
stacking issues
how the unit responds to other mods

I'd really like to see our 3rd gen members get active in this and start a true discussion about the products currently available.
A thread like this provides good reading to newbies, at the end of the thread one of us will write up a nice ending post summarizing the findings of the thread!

Anyone in the NC that are interested in some dyno runs to evaluate each tuner please let me know! We'll try and work somthing out to get some real information on the site regarding dyno numbers. I'm going to try to do this with each brand and year model of the trucks. We'll use one truck , install the tuner or box, make runs on available settings and record the data. We all know each truck will respond diffrently but we'll have a baseline to work with!

All I can say is that I've had both the Edge Juice w/Attitude and the Smarty Revo. Without being gross.......the Edge J w/A nurses on a hind teet when compared with the Smarty Revo. My mods are in my signature!!!

i have juice with attitude on my 08 but i just use it for gauges. i have a smarty and have it on catcher 7 and i tow with it. egts are very cool compared to edge. smarty is everything marco claims it to be. dont get me wrong edge is a good all in one pack. depends on what you are wanting.

i had the banks six gun with speedloader and i liked it if i was not towing, currently i'm looking to upgrade to something better so i took it off and waiting. I am kinda a newbie but i would like to see more posts about this too.My thoughts on the banks are if you are going to tow don't run it.

Ive currently got a customer thats running the Adrenaline on his 03 Cummins. He's trying to save the money for a Modded CP3 right not as his stocker can't keep up. Once he's got his new CP3 hes going to do some Dyno Runs and let me know what happens.

Okay, I'll bite... I have a Quadzillaraider w/ Commander and a Smarty w/ REVO.

Let's start with the Quad w/ raider II download. It started with the control pod that came with it, that was not good enough for me. I need numbers (pyro, boost, fuel, & pump). I noticed a huge improvement to the low end response. However, I did have fueling issues, therefore a FASS 150/150 was added to the system. There is some timing rattle with the Quadzilla, but it is fairly small. I do like the adjust on the fly availability for this system. I do like the gauge system that come with the Commander, it is nice and clean and adjustable. It dd take some time to connect all the interfaces to the truck (exhaust, trans, and so forth).

Now for the Smarty. It gives you a wide range of programing for whatever you like. However, it does take a while for the download to take affect (3-5 minutes) for the process. Plus, you are unable to change on the fly (downside of the Smarty). But, overall I really enjoy the Smarty overall performace due to the managed control of the system.

I due have the 2 stacked, by using the Commander's control settings and the Smarty's settings to lay down the power. Sometimes, I will add some additional power (it does feel like it) by pushing up to level 2 on the Quad with the Smarty. I do need to get this dyno'd to find out for sure.

That is my 2 cents worth.....

Thanks for the input guys. Somthing I'm interested to see is Someone designing a box, That through map signals, Rail pressure sensors , wide band 02, TPS (Well you get the drift) that maximizes the fuel available, and allows for a large band of maps like available to the EFI Live guys. Does this make sense at all?

I started with a stock truck and added the Quadzilla Power Puck and Predator stack. This with my stock truck made 462/816. It was slipping my stock clutch, still had stock fuel system, stock air box, stock everything. See below graph.

After a few months the clutch started slipping really bad so off came both of them. Once I upgraded the clutch I also changed to a Smarty and TST stack. This stack is very dangerous, the TST part of it. The Smarty makes great power all by iteslf without the TST but I wanted to try them stacked. The first night out with the TST I blew my HG by turning off the wastegate control. Spun the stock charger past 60#, not sure how much since that is where my gauge stops. I have not really had the opportunity to properly dyno this set-up although it was on the rollers once. It made less power than the Predator Puck stack but I was scared of it since the day before on the same dyno someone blew theirs up with the same stack.
