not necessarily at all... what so ever... an "additional" fuel pump (i dont know what you mean my additional...) will not add smoke... it will jsut provide the cp3 with enough fuel all the time... it doesnt matter if you are putting 10psi to the cp3 or 100psi to it.. the cp3 will only let so much fuel in.. so fuel pump will NOT add smoke.. it is definately a good idea to add an aftermarket fuel pump(ie.. FASS or AirDog).. i dont know how you would run an additional fuel pump though ontop of your oem lift pump.....

And yes, a tune will get smoke... i have a PPE STANDARD programmer and it will smoke a whoooole bunch... a Bully Dog Triple dog with crazy larry which is actually called their "Smoke tune" will smoke a LOT. a smarty will add lots of smoke too.... so as far as having to get bigger injector being the only way to get smoke... that is incorrect...

And yes the whole being immature and smoking out intersections and shutting roads down has already gone far enough... the EPA is already up our a$$es about smoke... Look at Schied last year... (if you were there) I bet we would be lucky to be invited back next year if this year goes like last year... there were a bunch of idiots running around.. at every parking lot doing donuts or every stoplight doing burnouts or racing down main street... seriously it makes us ALL look bad...

ya i agree that having a black president sucks but our goverment and EPA dont work like that... they dont care if we have a black president or not... they arent going to just dismiss and forget out smoke...

Yeah sorry I was referring to a dual CP3 setup, not a lift pump.
And the crazy larry tune is now defunct. But I guess there are still some tunes out there that will get lots of smoke.

id say just get some 150hp injectors and a bigger turbo and that should make you start rolling some coal. But getting the turbo you would have to waste gate it at 40 pounds.

Yes eventually your going to have to do some tranny work, at least a triple disc torque converter and a nice valve body. I really like suncoast transmissions products. You don't have to replace your gauges if you do get the attitude. Since you already have gauges I would use the attitude for other parameters such as fuel pressure, backdown, etc.

you can still get the crazy larry along with scarry larry and pedofile larry... You just cant get it off Bully Dog's website....

I still dont think even with Dual Cp3s you will still roll much smoke.... ok your getting more fuel to the injectors, but the injectors will only let so much fuel out... if you want smoke, put on an MP8 or EZ and then a PPE or Smarty ontop and you will blow plenty of smoke... along with your injectors and probably your motor...

The MP8 is a TS computer which isn't vehicle spefic. Its allows you to change the programming from a dial that is placed on your dash. And when you sell the truck, take the MP8 out, get the new wiring harness and update it and your new vehicle is chipped without spending a whole lot of money.
The Edge EZ is basically a plug and play module. You plug it into the stock connectors and your set.As for what it does performance wise, I have no idea
