You will see an increase in boost. Most aftermarket fueling boxes or programmers do it for ya already.

Yes, Smarty Jr boost fools to 45 psi. Doesn't mean you will see over stock boost though. In order to achive that it has to control the waste gate and it doesn't always work. Besides, Smarty turns off the WG instead of manipulating it. Probably not a good idea most of the time.

Get the Quad boost fooler and it will stop all over boost codes and still allow the WG to open before the turbo granades.

I'm going to be in the same boat tomorrow or the next day after my Smarty Jr. arrives. Already have the Quad boost fooler installed. So I should just leave it on there? How does that work together? Sounds like one would conflict with the other or cause false/inaccurate readings somewhere....

Not much drivetrain/power-wise. It's got the boost fooler, probably the only thing that makes a real noticeable difference. The intake pipe off the manifold has been upgraded (pusher), PSM airbox mod and the cat/muffler were removed and replaced with an Aeroturbine 4040.

They work fine together and it does not interfere with anything else as far as I have found. Without it you may not have over stock boost if the WG off does not work correctly on the Smarty which it doesn't on all trucks.
