(Ask me how I know, I have pictures too )
You are going to slip the direct clutches every time it goes into drive and the TC clutches everytime it locks. Even before gauges get a shift kit in it and save yourself a load of problems.

JIMBOW, I tried to figure out the best combination for the SW, TQ and TM for the JR, but they all ran very good and wasnt sure what to leave it on. I felt in the seat of the pants that SW3 and TQ default TM default ran the best. I emailed Marco (apparently hes the software writer or designer of the Smarty) to see if he could tell me what the differences were. He said :Re: Smarty Jr settings

The timing # will not increase the HP by a significant amount but will eventually provide a slightly better mileage. Which timing to use depends upon the fuel quality in your zone! You should surely give timing # 4 a try and see how it does smokewise. If you see no increase in smoke then that means that the fuel you're using is good quality. Should the smoke increase go back to the default timing....
Makes sense?

I currently am running SW-3 Timing-Default and Torque-Default. Is this the highest power output for the Jr? I have been told to put timing on 4 and power will increase along with smoke (which is A-OK in my book), is this true? Last, I now have occasional rattling from the engine when I really get into the throttle, could this be injectors? Will the timing going to #4 help or hurt this? I have a 2007 QC 4x4 with 5.9,48re,3.73 gears, stock tires, aftermarket intake. Thank you very much for any help you can offer! Love the product also!, David

P.S., You will still need gauges with the Jr. You could get away without them but thats crazy. Even without a programmer you should have a pyro meter to make sure that the turbo cools off when shutting down the engine. I will try SW3 TQ default and TM 4 just to see how it feels. I have tried it before and dont recall feeling a difference.
