Default Smarty or smarty jr?

I'm considering 1 or the other.I'm currently running the Hypertech Max Energy, but want a little more and got to get rid of that tq mgt.I have aero exaust.K&n filter. No gauges.I was told with the jr.I wouldn't need the gauges right away but should get them if I go with the smarty.I also tow a 6000lb camper 5-6 times a yr,and just want to have some fun.Why should I get 1 over the other?

I'd get the Smarty. But I would get Gauges before either one. Let me know if I can set you up with a Package Deal.

I have gauges and a Smarty Jr....still killed my tranny. I have been using mostly SW3 which directly from Bob is more like 120-125 HP. I also tow a 6000lb travel trailer occasionally and on SW2 it is awesome. If you do go with either Smarty product you will love it but guarantee that within a year you will need some trans upgrades. I do not regret buying the Jr, lots of fun!

I would get the JR Smarty. Be less stress on the transmission, especially the torque converter. But you still get real good power.

BTW, Bob Wagner is one of the guys behind the Smarty. He's a sponsor here, but if he isn't around, you can visit either: smartypower.com or madselectronics.com

I went with the jr.so I wouldn't be tempted by all that power.I have it on level 3 tm 2 and tq 2 for now.Seems to run great.
