Will a smarty thats on an 05 work on an 07. It was just brought maybe a couple of weeks ago. Also is the smarty out for the 07 yet? I'm asking for friend of mine. Thanks

 

No problem man. I think the smell was the tranny getting broken in and not the correct way. I don't smell it anymore though.
I now remember who you were when I saw your avatar. It was nice meeting ya.

Just so that you guys know there are a lot of updates for the stock trucks that take out a lot of the torque. That is the killer of the tranny. I just downloaded a new program today, but I have not run the truck yet but will keep you updated.

 

Depends on the model #. The one I have will work on 04-07.
Just go to madselectronics.com and it will tell you according to the model number if it will work or not.

 

one moore thing is a after market air intake a good idea with the smarty or will it cause the turbo to get hot with all the air flow in and stock exhaust hole to get out one moore thing why do you add timming to a diesel like the smarty power levels one is horse power and the next is same horse power but with timming what is the timming for pulling or not pulling
