Dang Mr DDMax. I was just kidding... I appreciate all the comments. I can tell you that the truck runs much better now that it's making some boost on the bottom end quicker than before. I'm liking that.....

All things aside, welcome to the site. We are a "diesel" site so there's no make bashing. Just some friendly ribbin. We are all here to both contribute and learn about anything diesel powered.

Skip, your equal to two of us already.

Gotta go everyone. I'm on the plane and we're about to take off. I'll log in at the hotel this evening when I get to Sarnia.

The Common Rails have multi layered head gaskets stock so at 1:1 drive pressures or close to it 50-55 PSI is no problem. Now, a stocker at that kind of boost will run drive pressures though the roof and will not be kind to a head gasket.

I'm not sure why you can't get any boost out of that thing. I'm running the same turbo on mine but with the 14 exhaust housing and I can run 45 all day long. HTT claims 1:1 drive pressure at 45 PSI with the HTB2 62 so if you are allowed to get it there with no wastegate then I say go for it. Do you have the adjustable boost elbow on there? I would call and talk with Paul at HTT and explain the problem, he may know something.
