We gave the Gator the Smarty tune. We'll see if he liked it.

Talking smarty

ya that smarty is something. only ran it on 8 because of the juice/attitude, but there was plenty of smoke and alot of power, i am currently saving pennies. Right now i am waiting for the guys at edge to call and tell me to pick up my hot juice, sucks driving the truck stock.

Hello gentlemen and ladies. I,m new and thought I would give some input on the smarty and edge juice stack. I just rode and test drove a 99 extended cab w/ this stack ,custom injectors, mid or stage 2 (which ever u prefer) hot rod pump, bd t/c and valve body and stock turbo and let me tell you it ran like a raped ape in a banana factory. I was very impressed. The guy drag races his truck. And believe it or not it runs 60 lbs. off boost. Saw it myself.

The smarty on a 24V is serious low end and lots of smoke. Sure it might work better on a Cr truck but that is only because the CR is a full computer where the 24V (ISB) is sort of between that and the older 12V truck.

If you stack go smarty for low end and EDGE COMP or COMP Drag or Juice or even TST for high end.

65hp is the max a programmer can safely deliver to a 98.5-02. Or please correct me if im wrong. Just what I've read

Am I missing something? What does this stack on a VP truck have to do with the OP's guestion about his CR?

Anyway. I usually tell people that there is plenty on power in the smarty by itself. If you want more then download revo or tnt.

That said, I did screw around with the EDGE/Smarty stack last night. Put the Smarty on TNT 4, tm 1 (stock), tq 2, rp 2. And the went from 2 to 3 on the EDGE. Midrande power livens up a bit. But it does run hot. That was the first time I saw my twins over 1100 deg. I was actually reading at 1350. With a little tweaking it might work pretty good.
