I just got done installing a pillar with ISSPRO's pyro, boost and fuel pressure guage. This is on my 03 CTD. Things went smooth except a few things that maybe you guys could help me out with.......

1. Boost gauge seems to rattle every time boost is increasing

2. I tapped into the orange/brown dimming wire for the gauges and they dim just fine but my backlight for the dimmer and parking lamp switch doesnt come on unless you move the dimmer **** up and down and sometimes that doesnt even help. I removed the whole switch to check bulb and it looked ok. I am thinking that the switch is drawing too much power and shuts off the ullumination lamp.

I dont know what else to do..... Wonder if you guys came across these issues after a new install of guages. Thanks

I don't have any problems with mine. I did not hook up the dimming feature, I just went with the lights on if the ignition is on. My boost is smooth all the time, maybe you didn't get the fitting tight? or you might have a faulty guage.

 

Yeah I called Eric at Vulcan and he mentioned that it might be a faulty boost guage. He was going to call the manufacture and if it is, he was going to send another one.

I really want to keep the dimmer line hooked up because it is bright when full power. Eric said that might be the problem where it is drawing to much power also......
