I have a couple questions for those of you with NEWER (04.5-07) 5.9s...is the Smarty REALLY a good stack on top of the Edge? From what I have been hearing, it adds too much timing/duration...enough for you to be able to hear/feel it in the engine when daily driving. I would LOVE to feel confident in buying a Smarty and throwing it into the Hot Juice/Power Puck equation later on down the road after I get bigger sticks, billet tranny, bigger turbo, lift pump and modded CP3...but not until I know for SURE that I won't have too much of something that might result in the meltdown of my truck...

You can run the smarty's without the timing.

That stack works better on a 2nd gen but the smarty alone works very well on the 3rd gen trucks. No rail pressure increase and gobs of power.
