umm not sure, its a holset turbo. max boost (per the dealer settings in the comp)i think is like 27-30.?? but w/o a chip and intake i dont think u even come close to getting that much. with a quad boost fooler and a crapload of mods u can get 60 psi i think is what the website said. 35-40 psi could warp headstuds or even blow a headgasket in some trucks im sure. prolly more likely to warp the studs tho. i have heard 3rd gen headgaskets are pretty hardy, the headstuds too but still not sumthin id want to test out . im not sure tho dnt quote me on ne of this im still learnin but im pretty sure the stock turbos on dodges are pretty good. definately loud!!

yeah definately dont want to go over 40 psi on the stocker, slowly but most definately surely it will give out on ya, but the only thing about breakin stuff is you get to BOMB it and thats how you build a truck if your on a budget

oh yeah for sure i would never go 60 w a stocker!!! i was just saying thats what you could push thru it if you wanted to break things like u were asking ! i personally wouldnt go over 40 w stock turbo, but w/ a boost fooler they are capable of 60, is all i was sayin.... I never said it was smart ! or good for the turbo..yikes
