Default Want lower EGTs, COMPOUND, SINGLE or what ?

What is my best option to lower EGTs ? My turbo & manifold are stock, is there a kit to add to my stock one for a compound set up ? I have heard this is the best way? I don't beat my truck and we pull a travel trailer camper. You can see everything I have already done in my signature. Whats reasonable I have 160,000 on the current stock turbo.

first get rid of that edge and get EFI live and that will help. are you just looking for lower EGT's or more power too?

I am good on power, but more never hurts I like my edge for the gauge functions.

edge runs hot, so EFI will help bring down your EGT's, give you more power and better/cleaner tunes. i dont know if you can use the EJWA for gauges with EFI, but you can always get an edge insight cts for gauges with EFI, that what i have. this will be a much cheaper route.

I'm relatively new to the Diesel Game but I've heard that a "GOOD" compound setup is good for getting low EGTs while towing. Anybody have thoughts on this?

you could also go for Calibratedpower.com's setup of a king spade tuner and Edge CTS monitor, best of both worlds, basically custom EFI live tunes in a flash tuner, and the monitor gauges
