Lightbulb Is it possible to upload too many times???

In my pursuit of a low smoke, quick spool program from my SMARTY, this has crossed my mind....

"Can there be a limit to the number of times I can load a program into my truck without hurting it???"

Explanation....Within the last week I have loaded different programs between 20-25 times. Is there any caution that I (we all) need to take with playing with settings on a regular basis??? Can you "Flash" the ECM so many times that it can actually do damage???

I am pretty sure that Bob, and Marco would not let us do all this adjusting without notifying us of any problems....but I still have that little birdie pecking at my brain.....

Any thoughts???

Bob, just answered on DTR that the ECM is good for at least 100,000 flashes!!!

That sounds like a "what is the MTBF" questions ... which means that half will fail sooner than 100,000 reflashes and the other half won't fail before 100,000 reflashes.

With the luck I usually have, mine would fail in the less than 100,000 reflashes category.
