Default s363

Hey yall. so im looking at getting a new charger for my 05. I was looking into getting a
htt s363 with a .91 divided housing. I know I will need a t4 manifold but what else is necessary to fit on of these to my truck. I wouldn't mind even going to a 2nd gen manifold but I was told that a s300 would clamp directly to my down pipe if I use the he 351 elbow. looking for people have done this and know what to expect. let me know what u think

Box BW chargers have a marmon dp flange. You can get an he351-marmon adapter though. You'll also need to drill out the bolt holes on the oil return line to 3/8. And you'll need a wastegate fooler. Swapping to a 2nd gen manifold is a whole different project...

Please forgive my ignorance... But the searching I have done and looking turns up that a hx40 dp might be the same and the marmon. Also the 2nd gen manifold swap would just involve a manifold and a charge air pipe correct. And then move the oil return line.

No but you can have the housing machined to an hx40 flange. To do a 2nd gen swap in stock position you need a 21" oil return, intake, down pipe, and manifold. The stock intercooler piping will work. Just have to twist it around and cut a little off the end.

What do u think about running the s363 with a .91 divided housing. I know that u can run a lot smaller housing if u have it gated. I'm worried bout that .91 being hard to spool

The .91 housing is definitely what you want. It spools just fine imo. And there is no need for a gate unless you have bigger than 100hp injectors and don't want to just pull a little fuel out.
