Fuel System

What you want to look for is a system that not only provides adequate fuel flow but also removes entrained air from the fuel. A single fuel filter is fine and works in conjunction with the stock filter. Most systems have a fuel filter and air/water separator. I personally run the AirDog system and have been quite happy with it.

I went with the AIRDOG system basically cause I heard of too many other types of systems not being as dependable. And I do agree the more pure fuel the engine receives I feel is better for performance and efficency. I bought the FP100 model mostly cause I didnt want to mess with taking either the bed off or lowering the tank to put a larger draw straw in. I talked with Pureflow Technologies when I ordered my system and they said unless you are really turning up your engine, the FP100 is well suited for anything I would ever need. I like the style of filters on the AIRDOG and I like the ease of being able to drain water from the system. Also I felt if I am going to invest in a fuel system upgrade like this I want to make sure I have something that should last the life of the truck. Not so sure from what I read and been told the others can do that.
