Default Dual mufflers?

So i installed a 6'' single stack on my 06 Cummins straight piped. But it was to loud so i installed a muffler that was 5 months ago i now want it quieter but i want to keep the stack would it be ok to install a secondary inline muffler? Would this cause an in increase back pressure or egts it will be a straight thru muffler. Thanks
