not sure about your hard start but def keep it turned off. my buddy blew his inter cooler boots off when he put it up to 10:argh: So you know its sucking some fuel to go with that air

Hard start issues usually stem from an IP going out or air getting into the fuel lines. It could also be a bad check valve on the return line of the IP.
#9 on the diagram could be lose and you may need to tighten it (I believe #9 is the correct one). Also the check valve or overflow valve could be your problem. |

Read the second attachment and it will give you a way to trouble shoot the check valve.
