A 53 Block was made in Brazil I believe, the water jackets on the passenger side are to thin and have a high risk of cracking. If you wanna know if you have a 53 block, crawl unger the front of your truck and look at the driveers side of the block towards the front. If you see "53" about an inch or so high, then you have a 53 block.
