Heater Grid Delete
Is a grid heater delete really worth the $50-60 bucks? I live in MO so doesnt get crazy cold but we do get some snow every year... Just wondering if it would help. Maybe the delete along with a new air intake horn...
Me personally have the mind set that it is not really that beneficial...
Please chime in let me know what you guys think about these gadgets...

Yea, it does help dress up the bay. I do have a sand blaster and access to a spray gun if I ever wanted to paint the intake horn. From the factory such a bland color and no paint....
Some guys swear by the horn and delete but havent seen any actual gains from it alone. Maybe someone has some info or charts they can share.

What paint did you use. Ive been looking but unsure of what temp rating to get. For ot a whole lot more there is an intake you can get off ebay that deleted it pusher or something. Hear the company is hard to deal with but I dunno. If I change mine that's probably what I quill get. I would eather give money to a small company vs. What the next cool brand is.

Pusher intake is junk. Unless they've changed. They're too high, rubs on the hood and snaps off the dipstick handle, I just dealt with that
As for heater delete, I don't think they do anything noticable, but I can't argue that eliminating any restriction is a good thing. plus cleaned up engine bay because I ripped out all the wiring and crap that goes with it.

I dunno how hard it is to take off and put back but you might could run it during the coldest part of the year. One website I found said not recommended under 20 or 25 I forget. Do you by any change know the temp rating on it. I'm looking at some but its only like 550 and I would like to do my exhaust manifold. Another product I have considered is duracoat its a fairly new gun coating that withstands heat and friction it lets you paint the action of semi auto guns so it must be pretty tough stuff.
