I personally think anything under 40* you should keep the grid heater. I'm in New England but my truck isn't a daily driver and I figure if I know I'll be driving it on any given day I'll plug it in the night before.

The autzone stuff was like 550 or 1500 but the intake sie of things shouldn't get that hot... Your goona have to find something good for the exhaust side...

I wouldn't worry about the exhaust side... just do your intake horn, the air intake plate underneath it and the valve cover. You could also add the alternator bracket, thermostat housing, and some plastics around the bay... Most guys do just that, I rarely see a exhaust side painted up pretty unless its a show truck.....

What paint did you use.
I used plain paint, nothing fancy. Scuffed it up really well, cleaned with paint thinner, primed and painted. The exact stuff I used was John Deere Primer, and John Deere Charcoal Construction Grey paint. So far it's holding up very well. Used the same stuff on my compressor housing, and valve cover.

for exaust you could pop off and take too a powder cote it, the guy buy my place only wants 40 a header for my truck so you could probly get out pretty cheap on ur i6 manifold if you did it a bright color like blue red or somthin like that it look pretty clean... as long as the rest of the engine is anyhow
