Default programer help

Looking for a programer for my 2001 dodge ram 2500 5.9 235 hp cummins w/auto trans. Banks 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back. HD cooling system. Plow package and camper package. EGT and boost gauges. Looking for a little more power when towing and better mpg's when I am not. Any suggestions?

Smarty would be good for you since ur not looking for big power the Smarty will give you a lift in mpgs and a little smoke. Or you could get a edge comp it will help you in mpg n great horse power. I run both if that tells u anything.

i would get the edge drag comp. it will give you the same mpg as the edge comp (maybe even more) and that extra kick of power when you want it. i even think the edge drag comp is the most powerful tuner on the markit so thats always good and its made by edge so you know you are getting a great product

Smarty if you want to save your trans, still a toss up. And before any performance upgrades an upgraded lift pump with a fuel pressurr gauge is a must on a vp even stock

the comp just plain works but if you don't have any gauges I suggest the edge juice cs or cts then you have the gauges you need

Thanks for the info. Before I made this post I was thinking either edge or smarty. Looks like I was on the right track from the posts I read. I wish the smarty had the gauge display that the edge has. I think the edge sold me with the gauge display and the turbo timer. Thanks again for the info.
