I called Edge today about updates for my Comp to see if they have worked some of the bugs out. Well turns out that they do have some updates for them ready to load. I just had mine in for Drag conversion last year and even since then they have added updates. So if your havin issues or you don't think it's workin up to par give em a call and send it in. It's free and they have them back in the mail to you the same day they recieve em. There is also certain manufacturing dates of them that they are replacing completely, free of charge.

I will be the first to admit that I have had some problems with my Comp in the past but their customer service has always been second to none.

They have also started a trade in program. If you wanna trade in your Comp for the Attitude they will sell you the new one for $500. Don't know if this is a deal or not cause I haven't checked re-sale value on the Comp and I don't know what the new Attitudes cost.

I had mine updated to the 10.8 software and Drag/hot upgrade done right before Christmas. Also resale on regular comp boxes are anywhere from 300-450. Drag/hot comps are probably around 450-525....maybe cheaper if you look in the right place.

The 10.8 software is supposed to improve reliability, as per Edge.

 

so can i send it in and ask for a previous update. or will they only load current updates?
