pfft autozone.. dont go there!! ( I work at Advance...)

my truck does this shaking as well, only if i am accelerating slowly and the truck goes from 3rd to 4th at exactly 45mph and the TQ locks up at a low rpm.. if i take the OD button off and get up about 55 then click the OD button on it runs perfect.
At the 45 mph and my od TQ locked up she bucks a little till i get up to 50+ mph.. i just figured it was the nature of the beast. And all my Ujoints are tight.

So then its natural for it to kinda buck like that in between 3rd and overdrive?

So I have a opportunity to get an edge JWA(not CS or CTS) for roughly $500. Is this a good deal?

Why is that?

There is also a local builder here that will rebuild the tranny, labor(which includes pulling the tranny and reinstalling) and a single disk billet torque converter for 1k... Is that worth it as well? cause it seems look everywhere else is like $2000+ just for a rebuild let alone a TC and installation...

Quality Parts are going to cost. I wouldn't trust a $1,000 trans rebuilt. A good single disc converter will cost ya $750.

Curious, what code/s were you throwing? I have the same box and took mine off when I had a P0122. changed the APPS, retrained it and the darn thing turned junk on me.

I didn't get the chance to check. The idiot light was off after a couple of miles. So unroll I get a different chip, I will leave it in and hope nothing goes out..
