Built transmission
I have a 2001 dodge cummins and im wondering what would be the best fully built transmission for sled pulling and normal street driving. Description and price range would help thanks
im looking into a about the same as you and have a quote from Wilson Patterson Diesel for $4800 for a built suncoast.. they say it will hold up for everyday driving and the occasional work stock hook to the sled.. it would include a triple disk converter billet input shaft billet flex plate valve body and i may be foretting something if so sorry.. i could add the billet intermiediet and billet output for extra but dont think i will need em idk hope this helps
my local shop built my trans. Billet input and output extra clutch packs and a spec rite triple disc converter. it held 2 years of racing daily driving and towing. Went back stock to turn truck back stock to pass smog. kept milled parts for my conversion.
