I don't think you have a snubber. All that looks like is the banjo adapter to thread a gauge into.

I might have to post a little rant in the badlands now.....

 

When you go back to the place that installed it, make sure you point out this on AutoMeter's web page. You could even print it off and show them.

so I need a snubber and a new sending unit then?

 

I am 99% confident that will have you fixed. There is a chance it is an electrical issues, but seeing there is no snubber, I'd bet my money on the sending unit.

 

parts came today and its FIXED thanks RAW and Jake

 

It was the sender failed due to lack of snubber?
