Default VP44?

I have thinking about upgrading my stock vp44 to a hrvp44, I figured it would need to be done sooner or later so I will do it sooner. I have a core to send in if i were to buy one i just dont know what pump suits me best. I would like to build my truck up to do some pulling but its mainly a farm truck with 275 injectors. What is my current used vp44 worth? it was installed in march. Any and all opinions are appreciated

So vp will make more power more reliably. The hrvp was imo a hyped up product ment to make money.

Nope. Save yourself some coin and the annoyances of a horrible idle, buy a edge comp drag or something similar, a good set of injector and a decent turbo and leave hrvp trucks in the dust

I would look into a edge drag comp before considering a programmer.

It's a matter of preference and opinion. Some like one over the other. I personally know that the drag comp is the most capable box I ran and provided the most power with the smoothest power band. The edge juice with attitude is also very similar with gauges. Hit Luke up over at diesel dawgs up, he will get you a good price on one
