Hey guys so I got another question... How hard is it or would it be to add cab markers to my 2001. I want to put white LED's on it I guess 5 of them I dont want to get crazy. Any yay or nays?

 

Very easy, under the headliner there are already spots for the cab lights, so you wont need to measure anything, just drill and run the wires. Recon makes some nice LED cab lights for the dodge. and remember to use silicone under the lights to seal out moisture.

 

Ok good point. My question is that if your truck didn't come with them:
A. Is the holes still there so we can drill them out
B. What about the harness. From my understanding the Recon kits only come with the lights and no harness. Do we have to go purchase a harness?

I did the cab lights on mine using the recon kit. Wasn't to bad the stock holes for the wiring are already in the cab just need to drill through the roof.

The only thing I didnt like was their harness.. the plugs they use at the light tend to come loose and are a pain in the *** to get to.. solution? hard wire them worked out great and look really good.

I got them for free from a friend.. he had them on a 97 f150 that was on some 38's
looked suprisingly great on that truck
