my base line is a 02 quad cab short bed,2wd, 6 speed with 3.55 rearend, running 265/75 tires. planing on exhaust, intake, gauges, lift pump, injetors, programmer/chip. as of now im got a smarty on mileage setting. wanting to get some input on what injetors, maybe turbo, what programmer/chip will be the best, and lift pump. im open to all opinions

for mileage and less money than getting turbo etc. get a set of rv275 injectors, a fass 95 series lift pump, cold air intake s&b, an edge comp, and swap motor and diff over to synthetic oil. or you can add a ht3b to the bottom and make a set of compound turbos and get a set of 150hp injectors and get some good fuel mileage that way

01quad cab-whats the biggest injector youd run. would the FRRP work for what im planning on doing. what would the changing of motor and diff oil do to help mileage.
frosty4227- dont want to change the gear ratio cause id still like to be able to put a trailer with decent size load behind it.

on a stock turbo for mileage the rv 275's. changing over to synthetic from petroleum oil reduces resistance. When I did the gear oil in my 4x4 it gained .75mpg.

Mines a 4x4 but i got over 20 mpgs with all this: AFE stage 1 intake, DDP 50 HP injectors, 4in turbo back exhaust, Edge Juice W/ Attitude, and a BD exhaust manifold. Its a 5 spd and I run 315 tires. Over the last few months Ive swapped out my BD turbo for a VGT, replaced the clutch fan with electric ones, and installed a Fluiddamper. Havent driven it that much lately but the electric fans made a big difference in MPG's. With the current setup, Im up 2-3 mpgs.

totally change it over to synthetic but remember not all synthetics are equal. Go Amsoil all the way. I am a dealer so if you got any questions ask away.
