is it possible to do this swap if so what mods would be necessary. i can buy the tranny and t case for 800 and id love to have manuel over auto

drive shafts modifed 4.5" each since the 6sp is longer
get a southbend clutch so that you get the flywheel and all
clutch hydros
clutch ped
pcm reflash
rewire N safty switch
rewire reverse lights
interior parts
dash cluster
steering colum plastic covers

yes its possible....doing one right now

 

so it would bolt up to a 24v no problem, i am not worried about any interior parts, whats a pcm flash and were can i have it done

 

yes a G56 trans will bolt up to a 99 24v engine plate...you may have to use a starter spacer tho depending on the clutch you use and the 4.5" measurement would be wrong thats for a NV5600 trans not a G56

dealer can flash for you i think

 

yes dealer can do it and runs around $100

 

I did same conversion in 99 2wd and I didn't flash mine and every thing works fine

 

yeah recently found out that 01-02 autos are the only ones that need flashed and the dealer cant do it but bob wagner can
