today some kid wanted to race me and i figured why not...all he has from what i've been told was his smarty. what i don't get is i was on level 4 figuring he wouldn't move that quick but he caught up right when i got mid 4th gear and went to pass and slowed down...i know autos are supposed to be quicker but i don't see how a truck with only a smarty and 4 inch exhaust was moving that quick with as much smoke as he rolled.

and before the smack talk about i had to be shifting slow i don't...

it just seems like there has to be something else on that truck the way it ran, any ideas?

or will a smarty really get a truck moving that fast in the lower gears?

 

The smarty adds a good bit of low end on the autos.

maybe that's all it was was gear ratio. idk i had him right off the line but he started chasing up quicker than i would have expected.

i'm 3.55 on 245s. he's running i think 285 or 305 comparable but on 18s. idk about his gear ratio, i figured autos were geared a little lower
