I built the down pipe and cold charge pipe when bigdawg installed this turbo and I can personally say that it spools faster and launches harder than my phatshaft 62 on my 12 valve does. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this set up except that the target hp range is about 350-500 hp and he is wanting to go bigger. The neatest thing about the fleece controller is the ability to write custom maps on your laptop and upload them onto the vgt controller. Oh, and the engine brake function is bad ***.

 

Thanks for the info...I will be installing this on a 2005 CR and using an aftremarket 6.7L manifold with the WGMT flange and the downpip from my stock HE351cw...it shpulf be a straight drop-in replacement which provides MUCH better spool, as well slightly more top end AND an exhaust brake to boot!!!

Hope BigDawg still has the turbo !!

No problemo...I'll let you know if for some reason he has it and I don't want it, but at this point it's looking good for me.

 

Don't know if this set-up is still available, but I ended up going with a newer turbo take off.
