i bought a smarty comes in tomorrow anyone got any suggestions what to set the 2 chips on for overall best driving also for mileage and for really romping on it and tearing some $hit up!!??

 

I leave my Smarty on Mileage, and only turn the EJWA up if I want more power.

 

hmm did it actually help alot?? and will the smarty run on 8 with the edge on 6??

 

I love the driveability with the Smarty on Mileage mode, and it definitely helps my mileage. You can run a 6/8 set up, but that's going to be one touchy pedal. You cruise control will surge when you use it as well.

 

got it today ipdate to revo though with my #8 tune in the truck or do i gotta put smarty back to stock

 

Just be careful when you stack if you put the smarty on odd numbered levels it will increase timing along with the edge. My recommendation is to run the smarty on even numbered tunes with the edge on.

another quick question will the 3 cylinder high idle on my smarty work for my truck since its a five speed cause it gets cold here in the winter in nd !!!

 

It sure should. To my knowledge, the Smarty doesn't kniw the difference in transmissions.

 

Yes you will have the 3 cylinder high idle.And when your edge is on run the fuel only numbers on the smarty

 

got ya the thing is almost to much to handle i keep the smarty on fuel or it gets wild holy

i got the revo on it what u guys all use for tuning for mileage with revo and ur catcher when stacked with edge what do u keep edge on?
