62/68 would work well

63/68 would give you a little room to grow.

Well I don't want it to be slow to spool but I also don't want an EGT problem. I don't have a problem with a water meth kit if that's needed to cool it down. I'm thinking down the road a Smarty would be nice to have for the low end power and spool.

a 62 would be perfect and put you at 500hp at least and a smarty is a chunk of change to loose hp with.

As for the Smarty, I really like mine. I pretty much leave it on level 1 (Economy) and my Edge off. Makes it an excellent daily driver.

Sup,

I am running a Smarty with the original software. I had the revo, but went back to the original. I just went to Knoxville a couple of weeks ago and Running the Smarty on 4 and the Edge Juice on 3x5 I hand calculated 17. something for mpgs. On the trip back to Maryland, I changed the Edge Juice to 4x2 and my mileage went to 22mpg. I tried to keep 65-70mph on the way down and then I ran 65-75 the majority of the way back. Got to play around with a 3rd Gen Dually and we blew some soot and I remember at on point after a WOT run I was coming off of 90 something and the boost was about 26 as I was shutting her down to get back on track for my mileage. I am running a Super B Special and a set of 175hp injectors. So With my setup I am pretty glad that I had picked up a used Smarty.....Any way just thought I would throw out my .02.

01quadcab,

Did you get that mileage when you were making the 11-12 sec passes? What size turbo were you running at that time. It seems that my mileage has been like a roller coaster as I have changed out different injectors and such. The TQ management has been a real pain and the Smarty has helped me alot. I would not buy one brand new for sure and it was not the first thing that I invested in. But it was a nice add on feature for me later on though.....

If you can get you hands on a Big changer, S400 or so, you could do you own compound turbo set up. I got my S400 for free, and everything else cost me $700 to get it all together. I have lots of boost, and it is good and cold. I can't break 1200* EGT with any, or both of the chips maxed.
