Nozzles have to be placed into the injector if you buy just the nozzle. It's easier to buy a full set of injectors and just drop them in rather than putting the nozzle into your old injector housing. Plus a set of injectors comes flow matched, and if you just buy nozzles they have to be pop tested and soforth after theyre placed into the housing so that the truck runs smoothly.

id say a set 0f 100s with the stock turbo. 150s with the stock turbo will be a lil warm.

Because I have the time and resources, I always go with nozzles. The local diesel shop gives me a great deal, and does amazing work. $20 per injector to swap, pop test, and flow check.

Question whats with the pop test. i put 125 ddp sticks in mine without pop testing and the truck has ran fine. Just wandering.

if you buy the whole injector then theyve already been tested. if you only buy the nozzles and put them on the injectors you already have then thats when you have to get them pop tested

Pop testing is setting the spring pressure on the needle, therefor setting the pressure at which the fuel will squirt out at.

also the more even all 6 injectors pop at the better performance and better fuel burn.

Im running 50hp DDPs with no smoke and my mpgs increased 1.5-2 when i put them in.

Thanks for yhe info on the pop testing guys. I could not be happyer with the 125 sticks. Plenty of power and mpg went up. Now i need my edge comp box .
