Default quadzilla help

just hooked up the airdog raptor 150 to my truck, and the quadzilla adrenaline.. if i mess around and like powerbreak it a little its like it hits a rev limiter.. prolly part of the chip settings right? but also if i floor it it sounds kinds nasty.. i mean i love the way it sounds but idk if its a good thing or not. like i said i just put it on so all i kno is my boost right now... im waiting for pay day so i can buy a pod kit... I KNO I HAVE TO HAVE IT! so maybe somthing to do with fuel? hope not ut just being cairful. this chip made a huge difference in the trucks exhaust sound, performance, and turbo noise. i kno most of its acting correctly but im just trying to see if anyone els has noticed a difference and kind of crackleing at the top of the gear when they get on it in PL10

The truck is going to act and sound different throughout with the Adrenaline installed. As far as the way your truck is acting when you powerbrake it, could it be the torque management your feeling?

Do some research on the different tunes and the adrenaline in general. Play with it some and get more acquainted with it and compare your results. You would be suprised at some of the trouble shooting you can do yourself aswell as what you can learn. If you are still having issues afterwards, report back.

Bud why waste money on a scanner. All you are doing is throwing it away on something you really do not need & could be putting it on something more important like gauges. Besides if it is the new 4k box that quad came out with last year, it is going to throw the dreaded code of death for the pump. Get some gauges so you can monitor the important stuff & do like some of the guys above mentioned & play with it & see what you learn. Then download a different tune & see what it does. One word of caution, if you still have stock pump, injectors, turbo, tranny, & head bolts I would not get one of the agressive tunes or turn it up too aweful much or you WILL burn something up.

thanks for the good info i deff agree. gauges are def on the top of the list.. or can i trust the numbers my pod tell me?.. because then all i need is to but the fuel pressure kit and all the important stuff will be displayed. other then that ill be upgrading as fast as i can. trans is at the top of the list right now. been on the phone with georoid alot figureing out what my game plane is. i still feel like the vp may be on its last leg from the way its acting but in about to go play with it and see what it dose with some new maps.. see if i can get a turbo timer set up . and the high idle too. who the hell needs a girl friend when you have a quadzilla...on second thought ill keep her around..hah

the truck was putin out a good amount of smoke when i first put the quad on but now im not getting any smoke. i also notice less power and still have the same cutting out noise when im floored. im pretty sure its the vp. im waiting on the puel pressure kit for the quad to come in the mail and ill see whats going on. i have no idea how long the truck ran with the lift pump out so i feel like its burnt up. i doubt any of the new mapps i put on would make it smoke less in level 10?
