Default to many miles to bomb?

I got a 98.5 24 valve with just shy of 220k my turbo's on it's way out and i was wondering if i should go stock or upgrade the turbo and injectors with a set of rv/marine injectors. My bro in law thinks im crazy for wanting to put a 60mm and injectors on it with that kind of mileage. Its got a tst powermax 3 and im going to be putting a airdog on it. can i get a yeah or nay on the upgrades. p.s its got a suncoast tranny and gauges in it also egt, boost, fuel psi, and tranny temp

I have a unmodded HY-35 With no shaft play for sale in case u needed one to replace yours. But I would go ahead and throw mods on your truck. Just makes sure your following Cummins maintenance recommendations.
