Default Edge Insight CTS

Ive been thinking about getting a insight cts for about a week now. its gonna be going on a 01 dodge 2500. im just curious exactly what it will monitor on an 01. i cant find anywhere that tells me. i would like for it to take place of my gauges. if it will tell me trans temp, exhaust temp, and boost im sold on it. i like all the features it has im just curious about all the monituring it will do. any help will be greatly appriciated.

My description may be off, but it is basically a computer with all the bells and whistles. You can go to edge.com and read their manuals. It will tell you more than you probably want to know.

It will do trans temp, reading off the sensor in the trans itself. It will also do boost, from the sensor in the engine. It won't be as accurate, probably out by up to 5 PSI, and doesn't react as quick. As for EGT's, you would have to buy the kit from them.

Expandable (items sold separately)
• Compatible with optional Edge Accessory System (EAS) to allow users to connect multiple, additional accessories
• Compatible with optional EGT pyrometer for engine protection

You WILL NOT get fuel pressure! This is something I talked to Edge about in the past. They do not have a EAS for a fuel pressure gauge. I was going to run my Comp and am Insight until I heard about that.

keep your gauges they are more accurate. lost a head gasket due to my edge juice because says boost was a max of 35 and was make 48.
