That would be a dream. Don't get me wrong, I like the spool time and the egts are probably about 100 degrees lower overall than my super b special 64 single was. It's much cooler highway driving. I'm about 650-700 while cruising 70mph. Towing 7k lbs is about 1100 to 1200 ( or more ) uphill in overdrive, 900-1000 if I kick it out of overdrive. Its when you mash it that I can still see 1500 degrees. And I haven't run a 1/4 mile or anything so who knows what it'll actually top out at.

I'm not sure where its waste gated, I could hit 54 psi with my 64 single, and I can do about 56 psi with the compounds. I would imagine I could adjust that to 60? One thing I noticed is that I never hear the wastegate on the compounds. Like with my 64 if you were on the throttle hard and let off you'd get that bouncing of the wastegate sound like f f f f f f f . If that makes sense. That's why I wonder if the wastegate on the compounds is working correctly or not, or if that just doesn't happen on compound setups.

That noise was the turbo barking/surging. The WG has a totally different sound that you would hear when hard ON the pedal. when you let off, the gate just shuts.
