Best bet is to call Peter at SouthBend and he'll give you the complete run down on your questions.

if it's the one I think it is, it will be great for what your doing. rated to 500hp? know a guy ran one with 37's and abused it and never had trouble only had issues when adding nos to the mix. but he was 500hp fuel and 600+ on juice

That should be a good clutch for that hp range. But I would call peter or mansel at south bend. They are extremely nice and helpful

well the OFE can be very grabby, especially if you tow or daily drive alot. I ran it, reverse was terrible. The FE is even worse. I actually tore the center out of an OFE with just an edge juice and 150hp injectors, I reccomend the Street Dual disc. Im not sure what the cost of it is off the top of my head. but its an entry level DD and its pretty smooth. itll hold 550 hp and 1100 ft lbs. but talk to peter at southbend or even give TST a call, talk to mark on monday and see what he says. TST is a big supplier of Southbend clutches and even installs them. number for TST is 812-342-6741
