I have the big Smarty, with the revo software, and I realy like it, seems to have a lot of features, has a decent amout of tuning options that are easy to understand and use. The Smarty may not add as much top end peak power as some of the other chips/tuners, but what it does add is 100% usable, off-idle power. Hope this helps u

It alows you to adjust the tourque management, injection duration and injection timing, between 5 pre-set options for the tourque and timing, and 4 options for the duration.

As long as you have enough fuel supply, I don't think it would make much difference which one you got first, but I think I would go with the Smarty first, for the extra features, such as code reading, speedo corection and such.

If you do go with the chip then make SURE the next upgrade you do is a better fuel pump to push that extra fuel. If you don't then eventually the stock lift pump will crap out and then the injector pump will follow suite. And that's a minimum 1000 dollar fix. Just in case you didn't already know.
