Ok. I need to beef the tranny(already in the works), then install gauges, then lift pump, and I can get a used edge comp for $250 from a friend. We'll see what that does. Any more advice. Thanks

The Edge comp really is a good box, it wont fuel as hard as a Quad but it will make damn good power.

Default lift pump

Hey Maximu. I noticed you have a couple raptor 150's. This is what I'm thinking of going with. Was the install hard? Are you still happy with them? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? What kind of pressures are you running.?

The install was pretty simple if you dont mind getting a little dirty, yes we do have pressure gauges they both run between 15-18 psi idling and cruizing and maybe down to 9 at full fuel at WOT. The pressure does seem to flutuate some with fuel temprature but I bet any lift pump will see that.

We left both pumps regulators where the factory had them set so I'm sure it will make more pressure if you wanted it to.

You know, I was converted...While the Edge Comp is a good box to start out with, I gotta say, the TST Comp kicks the crap out of the Edge, when it comes to performance. The fueling curve on the TST Comp is wicked, and it fuels waaay harder than the Edge ever did...But then it goes back to you need to have a built tranny and lift pump to handle it. just my 2 cents.

I need some more advice. What all should I have in my tranny to keep up with the Hp and torque. I have S&B CAI, Intake manifold, 100 HP nozzles, 150gph Raptor. I still havent decided which programmer to go with(im leaning toward quad adreneline with pulse or juice with attitude since i dont have gauges yet) and I dont know how much upgrading the tranny should get. Anyone know about how much HP and torque I'm gonna get with these mods and what to do with the tranny. My trans guy is telling me I need a triple disc converter, valve body and shafts totaling about $3200 for parts and labor. Does that sound about right? I didnt expect it to cost so much but I know nothing about transmissions.

If your looking to go into the high, high performance of a VP truck, then billet shafts are a damn good idea. Otherwise, a triple billet T/C and valve body will do you well. It is what I am running.

He is rite on with the converter and vb but you don't need shafts unless you plan to get bigger injectors and a big turbo
