chip or no?!?!

Default chip or no?!?!

well i was told by some people not to get a chip if my truck is stock cus ill blow out my tranny and other multiple things. But I do not tow very often, and if i did tow I wouldnt used the chip, so what is it can I get a chip or should I do some other stuff before it?!?!?!?!
need some answers fast this is my Xmas present!!!!!

i would, i mean if your easy on it, and dont go ***** to the walls your tranny should hold up, it just depends on how your drive really,

Do you have an auto an manual? A manual will take a lot more stock then a auto stock. With a manual a good clutch is about all you really need. As for the auto, a better torque converter and valve body is strongly recommended.
Before a chip, a good lift pump like FASS or AirDog is pretty much mandatory. Unless you like buying injection pumps that is. A fuel pressure gauge is #1. That VP NEEDS a absolute minimum or 8 PSI, and 10 - 20 is preferred.

what he said, and a bone stock auto with good fluid is barely enough for a prolonged 90hp tune

get a chip drive with it on low settings save up for a trans because a stock trans is only going to last so long before it goes even without a chip

X2 on this. My truck is practically stock except for a CAI and my trannys not in the best shape.

Go with a chip, but just don't drive like your at daytona. (as said above)

The chip will also help with mileage, helping you save to for a better trans!

pretty much why i want the cheap is to savfe on mileage and if i get the cs ot cts then i would have the gauges.
