i would, i mean if your easy on it, and dont go balls to the walls your tranny should hold up, it just depends on how your drive really,

Do you have an auto an manual? A manual will take a lot more stock then a auto stock. With a manual a good clutch is about all you really need. As for the auto, a better torque converter and valve body is strongly recommended.
Before a chip, a good lift pump like FASS or AirDog is pretty much mandatory. Unless you like buying injection pumps that is. A fuel pressure gauge is #1. That VP NEEDS a absolute minimum or 8 PSI, and 10 - 20 is preferred.

what he said, and a bone stock auto with good fluid is barely enough for a prolonged 90hp tune

get a chip drive with it on low settings save up for a trans because a stock trans is only going to last so long before it goes even without a chip

X2 on this. My truck is practically stock except for a CAI and my trannys not in the best shape.

Go with a chip, but just don't drive like your at daytona. (as said above)

The chip will also help with mileage, helping you save to for a better trans! :c:

pretty much why i want the cheap is to savfe on mileage and if i get the cs ot cts then i would have the gauges.
