Kyle you are pushing alot of fuel in 4,5,6 if you have a stock turbo and with what you have for other mods, you would prolly dyno your highest number on about setting 4. Atleast that was my case at the last dyno i did 531 on setting 4 and 500 on setting 6 just because it was so much fuel it was pulling the fire outta the enigine.

Scott, looking at his sig, looks like he has a BD super B turbo.

oops missed that part!!!! thanks for correcting me!! he should be around 450 ish give or take alittle bit

Not likely. More like the VP couldnt keep up on top end. VP trucks MUST make their power by 3000RPMs or they run out of fill time for the plungers in the pump. With large enough injectors and/or a strong fuel box it is easy to cavitate a VP and stall it.
It is important to tune the VP's fueling curve to accommodate the amount of fuel needed for the task to prevent cavitation or low #s. Next time, try winding it up down low, and then gradually lean into the throttle instead of slapping the pedal to the floor. You will get a bit less smoke and a bit more power.

yea i like the super b i built a set of twins but the big charger was an oil puker... i can run 456 just gotta be well above 2g or black clouds.... im lost as to what my next upgrade shoud be... even with the stick i've hit 85-90 in a 1/4 according to the edge/attitude
